Our Principal

Welcome to Carriel Junior High School! We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community and look forward to working closely with you to ensure your student’s success. Communication is key, and we encourage you to stay connected with us throughout the school year. By working together, we can create the best possible environment for our students to thrive both academically and personally.

We are proud to continue our implementation of the Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST). BIST is designed to help students manage their behavior and make positive choices, ensuring that every student is able to succeed in a supportive environment.

We are also excited to have the Ron Clark House system in place, a dynamic approach that builds school spirit, promotes leadership, and fosters a sense of community among our students. Each student belongs to a "house" where they have the opportunity to develop teamwork, responsibility, and school pride.

Additionally, Carriel is home to a unique feature—the Carriel garden. This space is available for all students to explore and learn, adding a hands-on element to our educational experience.

At Carriel, we strive for academic excellence in everything we do, and we feel fortunate to be a part of the wonderful O'Fallon community.
